General
The international accreditation organization AACSB has renewed the academic accreditation of King Talal School of Business Technology programs at Princess Sumaya University for Technology for six years, reflecting the school’s continued commitment to academic excellence, educational quality, and innovation.
AACSB is one of the most respected accreditations for business schools worldwide, granted to only 5% of them. The decision followed a field visit by an international review team in May 2025.
Prof. Wejdan Abu Elhaija, President of the University, expressed pride in this achievement, which reflects the progress made by King Talal School of Business Technology. She explained that it was made possible by integrating modern technologies like artificial intelligence and data analytics into the curriculum, and by adopting micro-credentials in partnership with international platforms such as Coursera. These efforts prepare students for the digital job market and align with the vision of HRH Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees.
Dr. George Sammour, Dean of King Talal School of Business Technology, said the report showed the school's commitment to internationalization. This includes hiring international faculty, increasing student exchange programs, strengthening research partnerships with top global institutions, and offering internships with major international companies.
He also emphasized the school’s efforts to support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through quality research, student projects, and active involvement with the local community.
It is noteworthy that King Talal School of Business Technology was the first business school in Jordan to receive AACSB accreditation. Moreover, this renewal confirms the school’s continued academic excellence and commitment to the highest international standards.
